stick's NaNoWriMo Project; 2006 }

"Blood and Irony" is the makings of a very unprofessional adventure involving the usual array of unlikely characters. There's a prince who isn't really a prince, just trying to find his way in the world. There's a demon who's been cursed so that he cannot tell lies. There's a seer who's blind, a knight who got kicked out of the holy circle, and a long departed soul who left her sanity when she left her body. In the middle of it all is a girl. Just a normal, ordinary-seeming girl that's actually one of the greatest demonic powers ever to walk the earth. But she doesn't know it yet.

This journal is where I'll be posting chapters, information, snippets, and other related whatsits about the book. This is my project for National Novel Writing Month 2006, so don't bother trying to steal it or anything. If you're also participating in NaNoWriMo this year and have an LJ for it, feel free to friend me and we can be NaNo Buddies. :D

The image above was taken from this gallery and was made by an artist going under the name "Eno". I've modified the original image a little bit in photoshop (mostly just changing the colors and a bit of cropping). I guess what I'm going at here is that the image is certainly not mine, and I didn't get permission to use it. I'm just using it here for the sake of making my userinfo look pretty. And hey; it fits two of my characters perfectly. But which two? Oh, you may never know...

The same thing goes for the icons I used. The images were stolen from various sorces and I don't have the rights to any of them, really. The images just seemed to fit the characters, so what the heck. If you happen to want me to stop using any of these images for any legal reasons (hey, it's been known to happen!) just tell me and I'll get rid of them.
